What is retreat?
To retreat means 'to withdraw'. When we deliberately slow ourselves down, we become more aware of the presence of God in our lives.
To retreat is to take a deliberate step away from our everyday lives in order to reflect on where we have been and where we are going; to catch a glimpse of how we might live differently; and to listen for the still, small voice of God.
Jesus withdrew to a quiet place. Let's follow His example.
