Brown’s Beach

Stroll these solitary sands and let the waves of hope lap at your feet. This secret sanctuary soothes the soul.

Sugarloaf

It marks the beginning of Browns Beach. At low tide you can walk out to it and climb to the very top. It is exhilarating. At high tide, only the top of it is visible above the water.

Giffin Pond

Giffin Pond is a completely secluded fresh water lake right along the coast of the Bay of Fundy. The only thing separating it from the ocean waters is the beach. This beach at Giffin Pond consists of very big rocks that have been washed into shore over the years and have been worn smooth from the action of the tides. This is one place where the power of the tides is very evident. It is absolutely beautiful! It takes close to 1 hour to hike all the way in to Giffin Pond. We hike mostly downhill to get there and uphill to get back. This a great place to collect drift wood or other paraphernalia that has drifted to shore.
